Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
BLOCK & BOLD (“we”, “us”) operates the online store at www.blocknbold.com. We respect your privacy and keep the information you give us to the minimum we need to get your order to you. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the order updates we send you on WhatsApp.
Our commitment in plain words
- • We never sell, rent or trade your personal information — to anyone, for any price.
- • We never publish, display or disclose a customer's personal details publicly.
- • We never store card or bank details — orders are Cash on Delivery.
- • We share only the minimum needed: your delivery details with our courier, and irreversibly hashed identifiers with Meta for advertising measurement (section 5).
- • You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
1. Who is responsible for your data
BLOCK & BOLD is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@blockandbold.com or 0301-4411149.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what an order actually requires:
- Order & delivery details — your name, phone number, delivery address, city and, if you choose to give it, your email address.
- Order contents — the items, sizes, quantities and amounts of your order, and its status.
- Messages you send us — contact-form enquiries, newsletter sign-ups and WhatsApp replies.
- Technical & usage data — pages viewed, approximate device/browser information and basic performance measurements, used to keep the store fast, secure and working correctly.
We do not collect payment card or bank details. Orders are paid in cash to the courier on delivery, so no card number ever reaches this website. We also do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
3. How we use your information
- • To process, pack, dispatch and deliver your order.
- • To send you order updates (confirmation and dispatch/tracking) on WhatsApp.
- • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
- • To handle returns, exchanges and refunds within our 7-day returns window.
- • To keep the store secure, prevent fraudulent or abusive orders, and fix technical problems.
- • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not build our own customer profiles from your personal details, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you. The advertising measurement data we share with Meta is described in section 5 below.
4. WhatsApp order updates
When you place an order we send order updates to the phone number you provided, using WhatsApp. That message contains your name, your order number and what you ordered, so you can confirm it is correct. Your number is used for this purpose and customer support only — it is never used for unsolicited marketing, and it is never shared with other businesses or added to any third-party list. Delivery of those messages is handled through WhatsApp, whose own terms and privacy policy apply to the message once it reaches their platform.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep your shopping bag, keep you signed in where relevant, and keep the site secure. We also measure basic, aggregated usage (such as page views and load performance) to improve the store. Where our advertising tools are enabled, Meta advertising cookies are also set on this site (for example _fbp and _fbc); these are not strictly necessary and they identify your browser for the advertising measurement described below.
Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising. Where our advertising tools are enabled, we may use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising — for example, to know that a purchase followed an advert. Where a customer identifier (such as an email address or phone number) is used for this matching, it is irreversibly hashed before it is sent; we do not send Meta your address, your message content or your plain contact details, and we do not receive information about your activity on other websites. You can control how Meta uses your data in your Facebook or Instagram Ad Preferences, and you can limit tracking in your browser settings.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Courier / delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so the parcel can physically reach you, plus the amount to collect for Cash on Delivery.
- Service providers who run the store for us — hosting, WhatsApp message delivery and analytics. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Authorities — only where we are legally required to disclose information.
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we never publish or display customer details publicly — including on our website, social media or any advertising.
7. How long we keep it
Order records (including name, delivery address and order contents) are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet our tax, accounting and warranty obligations — typically up to five years. Contact-form enquiries and newsletter sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them. Technical analytics are kept in aggregated form for a short period (generally up to 90 days) and web performance measurements for up to 30 days. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted.
8. How we protect it
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Administrative access to order data is restricted to authorised staff and protected by individual credentials; administrative pages are never publicly accessible or indexed by search engines. Customer records are held in a private database that is not reachable from the public internet. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them as the store grows.
9. Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- • Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- • Delete your personal information (see the section below).
- • Stop sending you marketing or newsletter messages.
Email hello@blockandbold.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example, the phone number used on the order) so we do not disclose your data to someone else.
10. Deleting your data
To have your personal information deleted, email hello@blockandbold.com with the subject “Delete my data”, including the phone number or order number used for your purchase. We will verify the request and delete your personal data within 30 days, and confirm once it is done.
We may need to retain a minimal record of a completed transaction (such as an invoice) where tax or accounting law requires it. Anything not legally required is removed. Full instructions are also on our data deletion page.
11. Where your data is processed
Our store and database are hosted on secure servers, and some of our service providers (for example message delivery and advertising measurement) may process data outside Pakistan. Where that happens, we share only the minimum information required for that service to work.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. This policy was last updated on 23 August 2026.
